Does founding father of a fraternity look good on a medical school application?
There is a frat which is growing rapidly on campus. first semester last year there were 15 members. and second semester there are now 25. Founding father goes up to 28 members. its a fast growing frat. I have the opportunity to be a founding father. there are a lot other better frats there but i am just trying to help my med school application. Will being a founding father show a lot of leadership on my application? I am still a sophmore
You know what looks good on a medical application? Medical stuff. For example, volunteering at your local hospital. THAT looks good on a med-school application. Unless this fraternity is a medical-based group, then they won’t give a shit. Med-schools want to see how serious and dedicated you are to the field of medicine. I volunteer in my hospital’s ER and also have worked in the medical field for two years now. I’ll be getting my EMT certificate this spring. THOSE are the things they care about.
