Cuckoo Clock

How do I find out details about my cuckoo clock?
I know my grandparents purchased it in Germany in approximately 1950, it is a Black Forest clock and I think it might be an Anton Schneider. I know collectors pay a lot for some of them so how can I find out if my clock is attractive to collectors?
First, confirm providence. The worth of antiques are worth more if you can answer with proof the who, what, when, and how.
Second, look to the mechanism. If it was serialized you can trace the manufacturer.
Third, show the piece to several reputable antique dealers and pawn shops. Several opinions will confirm worth.
Fourth, google “cuckoo clock collectors” and “cuckoo clock society”. Check out their links.
