Glasgow Montana

Has anyone heard of Glasgow,Montana?
I have now.
Glasgow is a city in and the county seat of Valley County, Montana, United States. The population was 3,253 at the 2000 census.
Glasgow was founded in 1887 as a railroad town created by James J. Hill. Hill was responsible for creating many communities with the railroad along the Hi-Line. Glasgow became popular during the 1930s because President FDR requested that Fort Peck Dam be constructed and this was a huge form of employment for the Glasgow area. In the 1960s the population flourished up to 12,000 because of Glasgow Air Force Base (SAC), used during the Vietnam War and the earlier part of the ‘Cold War’. After the deactivation and closure of the base in 1969, Glasgow’s population dwindled.
The town overlooks the Milk River Valley.
